At our Lubbock martial arts school, we believe every child deserves the confidence and skills to handle difficult situations, including bullying and negative peer pressure. That's why we developed the Pittman Bully Buster Method — a proven approach that empowers kids to make strong, positive choices when it matters most.

Our goal is simple: by the end of this training, your child will have the confidence, awareness, and tools to stand up for themselves and do the right thing — even in challenging situations. Just as importantly, they'll learn how to choose healthier friendships and avoid negative influences altogether.

Building Real Confidence — Three Steps

The Pittman Bully Buster Method is designed to instill true confidence — not arrogance, but the quiet strength that comes from knowing what to do.

1. Self-Control Training

We begin with engaging drills that teach focus, discipline, and emotional control. Kids learn how to stay calm under pressure — an essential skill when dealing with bullies.

2. Verbal Defense Skills

Next, we teach clear, step-by-step communication strategies that help children handle verbally aggressive or persistent bullies. Your child will learn how to speak with confidence, set boundaries, and defuse situations before they escalate.

3. Non-Violent Self-Defense Techniques

Finally, we introduce safe, effective self-defense skills designed to protect your child if a situation becomes physical — without promoting unnecessary aggression.

Confidence That Lasts a Lifetime

With the ability to stay calm, communicate clearly, and protect themselves if needed, your child will develop the confidence to stand up not only for themselves — but for others as well.

At our school, we're not just teaching martial arts — we're helping shape strong, respectful, and resilient young leaders.

Frequently Asked Questions

If my child learns to fight, will they use it the wrong way?
No — because we teach them when NOT to fight. Fighting is a last resort. They learn to handle situations with words first, avoid trouble when possible, and only use physical self-defense when truly necessary.
